Recipe Card: Sweet Heart


Materials & Tools used:

Bazzill Avalanche Cardstock
Bazzill Dotted Swiss Scalloped cardstock – Ballet
Green cardstock (piece from stash)
Nitwits Collections Essentials – Butterfly Kisses Toppers & Decoupage
Jenni Bowlin Ink Pad – Chewing Gum
Double-sided foam tape (1mm thick)
Scalloped Template
Crop-a-dile (hole puncher), small heart punch

Use Bazzill Avalanche for the base, ink edges with Chewing Gum Inkpad. 

Mark holes in each scallop of the Bazzill Scalloped cardstock by using a similar size Scalloped Template and punch out using the Crop-a-dile hole puncher.  Adhere to the Avalanche Cardstock.

Mat photograph onto green card adhere to layout.  Ink the edges and layer up the decoupage pieces using double sided foam tape to make up the title for the layout and adhere above the matted photograph.

Detach the flower border from the Butterfly Kisses Toppers sheet, ink the edges and adhere to the bottom of the photograph using double-sided foam tape to give dimension.

Detach the ‘Love’ heart from the Toppers Sheet, ink the edges and adhere to the top left hand side of the layout as shown using double-sided foam tape.

Detach the ‘Candy Striped’ heart from the Toppers Sheet, ink the edges, add baby’s name and date of birth and adhere to the bottom right of the layout as shown using double-sided foam tape.

Punch out eight hearts using small punch and Avalanche Cardstock, ink edges and adhere randomly to each side of the layout.
