I've made this suitcase before (earlier in the year at one of our Scrapbook Saturday events) but when I saw the fabulous new Bo Bunny 'Love & Lace' range, I knew it would be a perfect choice for another one.
I used a Candy Box Crafts MDF Suitcase and inked the inside and around the outside edge of the sides where I would cover with the Bo Bunny patterned papers. It is an easy (and fun) project to do and this is the result:
This is the back view of the suitcase.
The MDF Candy Box Suitcase and Bo Bunny 'Love & Lace' patterned papers can be found at: www.thescrapbookgarden.co.uk Thanks for stopping by. Please leave a comment so that I know you have passed by this way.
Just to remind the ladies of the Mad Scrappers Club that we meet tonight at 6.30 p.m. as usual. This month we will be creating with some fabulous patterned papers from Kaisercraft 'Ma Cherie' range, coordinating cardstock and a Kaisercraft 'Windsor' clear stamp.
This is the second layout I created using this month's kit. See you tonight ladies.
Thanks for stopping by. Please leave a comment so that I know you have passed by this way.
It is the Mad Scrappers Club night next Wednesday and the kit this month contains gorgeous patterned papers from Kaisercraft 'Ma Cherie' range, along with Licorice and Blush cardstock. The technique this month is a fab Kaisercraft 'Windsor' Clear Stamp.
This is the first of two layouts I have created using the kit:
I used a photograph of my eldest Granddaughter (taken when she was 5 years old). She was just coming down some steps from the car park in a local shopping centre when this photograph was taken - hence the title! Just a reminder that not all layouts have to be about 'special occasions' and that everyday life can be recorded.
I will post the other layout next week. Thanks for stopping by.
This month the Mad Scrappers Kit will include patterned papers from the Kaisercraft Ma Cherie Collection and Licorice and Blush Cardstock. The technique this month is a Kaisercraft 'Windsor' Clear stamp. Looking forward to seeing what you create with this kit next week ladies. In the meantime, I leave you with images of the patterned papers and that fab stamp.
I have created two layouts using these lovely papers and stamp and I will post soon. Thanks for stopping by.
Hi all Mad Scrappers - remember it is the Mad Scrappers Club tonight. This month we will be creating with some fab patterned papers from Simple Stories 'We are.... Family', along with coordinating cardstock and a 12x12 Fundamentals Sticker Sheet from the same range.
Here are two layouts I have created with this month's kit:
I used 'Perfect Together' patterned paper for this layout, cutting out some of the circles and adhering my photographs behind, so they show through the cut outs. The Sticker Sheet is fab and there are loads of lovely sentiments and images to add to the layout. What you cannot see from the photograph is that I used double-sided foam tape on the stickers to add dimension to the page.
I used 'So Very Loved' patterned paper as the basis for this layout, adding extra hearts using a Tando Creative Mask and a white pen. The banner strips along the bottom edge are cut from the manufacturers strip (from the bottom of the papers), so nothing is wasted!
Looking forward to seeing everyone tonight. Thanks for stopping by.
This month our Mad Scrappers Kit contains patterned papers from Simple Stories 'We are.... Family' range, along with coordinating cardstock and a pack of 12x12 Simple Stories 'We are.... Family' Fundamentals Cardstock Stickers.
I have created 3 layouts this month - will post them soon. Our next Mad Scrappers Club date is next Wednesday 14th October - looking forward to it.
Just uploaded some fab Mini Masks from Tando Creative to the website shop. These cute 99mm x 99mm masks are made from robust 350 micron plastic and are completely washable for re-use. Perfect for using with ink, sprays, paint, pastes and chalks. They can be used to dry emboss or with a suitable roller die cutting machine when used with the appropriate embossing mats. They are ONLY £1.20 each!
All these fab little masks can be found HERE. Hope you all have a lovely Saturday! Thanks for stopping by.
All these kits are worth more than the £5.00 price tag ... get them while you can! I only ship to UK addresses. Mad Scrappers Club members - if you want one of these kits as an extra to make more pages.... just email me and I will put one aside for you (if still in stock!).
This is the second layout I have created using this month's Mad Scrappers Club Kit, which consists of Carta Bella 'Fall Blessings' patterned papers, coordinating cardstock and a pack of DIY Thickers Foam Letters.
I used 'Autumn Trees' patterned paper as the base (gutted out the middle) and layered this with Bazzill Yam Cardstock, then the reverse side of the 'Autumn Trees' patterned paper.
I layered a large doily (included in the kit) over the base layers and added a strip of patterned paper (from 'Border Strips'). I die cut my photograph and mat to give it that scalloped edge and added it to the layout. I added some paper flowers from my own stash.
I used some fine glitter on the DIY Foam Thickers and made them into letter tiles using some of the Yam Cardstock before adding to the layout. I love these DIY Thickers as they are so versatile and can be used as they are or with thick glitter, tiny seed beads .... or anything else that will stick to the foam adhesive.
Thanks for stopping by ... leave a comment so that I know you have passed by this way.
It's the first Mad Scrappers Club of this month tonight - looking forward to that. In the meantime I will show you a layout I have created using this month's club kit of Carta Bella 'Fall Blessings' patterned papers, coordinating cardstock and a pack of DIY Thickers Foam Letters.
I used Bazzill Yam Cardstock as the base (gutted out the middle first), layered this with some white cardstock and finally layered with a frame of Java cardstock.
I made the embellishments from the patterned papers, adding some buttons from my own stash to the centres of the rosettes. I added a piece of patterned paper over the base then added the 'tag' and the photograph and then the embellishments.
The title is cut from one of the patterned papers (the word Happy) and I used the DIY Thickers to create the word 'Days'. I used glitter on the foam letters in a coordinating colour.
See you all later ladies - can't wait to see what you all create! Please leave a comment if you pass by this way. Thanks.
It's our first Mad Scrappers Club next Wednesday (of this month) and as September heralds the beginning of Autumn (did I blink and miss Summer?) what better way to embrace the changing seasons than using 'Autumn' themed papers in our kit.
We have some fab patterned papers from Carta Bella called 'Fall Blessings', Yam and Java Bazzill Cardstock and a pack of DIY Thickers Foam Letters (some packs may vary from the photograph).
I also added a paper doily to the kit as an extra (I so spoil them!). Looking forward to seeing what our ladies create with this fab kit. Any kits left over will be available to buy from the online shop later in the month.
I have created two layouts and will post shortly. Have a lovely day - please leave a comment so that I know you have passed by this way. Thanks.
