Festive Edinburgh

This is the second layout I have created using this month's Mad Scrappers Kit. In the kit we have patterned papers from Bo Bunny 'Bella Rosa' range, coordinating cardstock and a pack of Silver Foil Alphabets.

For this layout I used a photograph taken in Princes Street, Edinburgh. We visited last November as the City was celebrating their annual Christmas Market.

It's our first Mad Scrappers Club of the year tonight. See you all there ladies. Thanks for stopping by.

This is the first (of two) layouts I have created with this month's Mad Scrappers Kit. The Kit this month consists of patterned papers from Bo Bunny 'Bella Rosa' range, Cranberry Dot paper and Coconut cardstock. There is also a pack of Simply Creative Silver Foil Alphabet & Numbers Stickers.

I added some sparkle in the form of the jewel border and Prima Crystals - well it was a Christmas night out after all! Thanks for stopping by.

A look back: November 2016

The final Mad Scrappers Kit of this year (we don't have one in December) contained patterned papers from Echo Park 'I Love Winter' range. We also had Bazzill Avalanche cardstock and Bazzill Plastic Embossing Paper:

The colours in this kit went perfectly with some photographs I had taken in Canada nearly 11 years ago. I embossed the plastic paper using a snowflake embossing folder and it added an extra layer to the first part of the double-page layout 'Let it Snow'. I also used this paper to create a flower on the 'all bundled up' layout.

Thanks for joining me in my little trip back to view our Mad Scrappers Kits of 2016. I hope you will continue to follow our Mad Scrappers layouts next year. Thanks for stopping by.

A look back: October 2016

This month our Mad Scrappers Kit consisted of Graphic 45 'Café Parisian' patterned papers, coordinating cardstock and two FabScraps chipboard words:

The colours in this kit are fantastic! I wasn't sure what I was going to do with this kit until I found some photographs of my two daughters enjoying an afternoon tea at Lumley Castle and everything just came together from there.

Family Memories

Enjoy the Little Things
Graphic 45 isn't everyone's cup of tea (excuse the pun!) but the secret to G45 papers is to 'cut them up'. They always add fabulous little details that can be used in so many different ways and make great embellishments when you add some foam tape to give extra dimension. Another of my favourites because they feature my lovely daughters. Thanks for stopping by.
