Last night was the first (of two) Mad Scrappers Club nights this month (the next one is on Wednesday 27th May) and the ladies were very busy creating with the kit for May. The kit contained patterned papers from Prima 'The Archivist', coordinating cardstock and a pack of Prima 'The Archivist' SIIC (Say It In Crystals). I have a few finished layouts to share with you today.
Anne G. layout
Linda L. layout
Three completely different types of photographs but all fabulous! Thanks for sharing with us ladies. I'm sure I will have more lovely layouts to share with you at our next club night in 2 weeks time. Looking forward to it.
This is the second layout I have created using the May Mad Scrappers Kit of patterned papers from Prima 'The Archivist', coordinating cardstock and a pack of Prima 'The Archivist' SIIC (say It In Crystals).
I used a template to shape the reverse side of 'Les Fleurs' patterned paper, punching out holes along each side to thread some pale green ribbon through (extra to kit). I attached this to the cardstock base using double-sided foam tape.
I made the title by cutting Sugar Cream and Safari cardstock into squares big enough to fit the alphabet stickers. I die-cut the ribbon shape using a piece of the patterned paper and added a SIIC to the centre.
It is the first Mad Scrappers Club for this month tonight - looking forward to it. See you later ladies.
This month the Mad Scrappers will be creating with some fab patterned papers from Prima 'The Archivist' range along with coordinating cardstock and a pack of Prima 'The Archivist' SIIC (Say It In Crystals). Prima 'The Archivist' range can be viewed HERE.
This is the first of two layouts I have created using the kit contents:
I took inspiration for this layout from a series of layouts by Lindsey Bexon (Pages 66-67, Issue 88, Scrapbook Magazine), in which she created word columns on her layouts to great effect.
I created this layout using (the reverse side) of The Archivist "F & W" patterned paper along with black and white cardstock. The alphabets and words are from various ranges, which I had left over from previous projects. A great idea on how to use up left over alphas and word stickers!
I have another layout to show using this kit, which I will post shortly. In the meantime, have a lovely weekend.
This is a layout I created using some of the papers from Kaisercraft 'Wanderlust' range. I scraplifted a layout (I have shown previously) from the Kaisercraft blog but put my own spin on it.
The photographs are from St Petersburg, Russia. I was lucky enough to go there (nearly 8 years ago now) on a cruise from Newcastle.
I had a sheet of patterned paper left over from our NSD on Saturday (the suitcase one called 'Found) and added the Globe die-cut from the same range. The other bits and pieces are stickers from the pack we used from the 'Wanderlust' range. I added some Prima 'The Archivist' SIIC (Say It In Crystals) to add some sparkle.
I have some full packs left over, so if you fancy one, let me know.
I promised yesterday that I would post some photo's of the fab MDF suitcases the Mad Scrappers ladies created at our NSD on Saturday - well here they are. Some are completed and others have more embellishments to add - but all are fab! Thanks again for a lovely day and congrats to Eileen, Sheila and Karen S. for winning the quiz and the goodie bags - well done.
Thanks for sharing with us ladies. Hope everyone is enjoying the Bank Holiday?
